A patched Synaptics Driver for XFree 4.x. based on a driver from Peter Österlund.
The original driver can be found at:

Stand-alone (C. Scott Ananian, 1997, no longer maintained).

Stand-alone (Bruce Kall, 1998-2000, based on the above). (Link seems to be dead by now)

XFree86 driver (Stefan Gmeiner, 2001, parts derived from Ananian/Kall work).

XFree86 driver (Peter Österlund, 2003, based on the above).
This patch has now moved in the official release, so you should get the latest version from the official homepage!
